About us
Michael Wynne, Principal Physiotherapist
Michael Wynne's journey with EBR Physio began in 1990 when he came to work a temporary six-week stint to assist his mum, Pam Marshall. However, what started as a short-term commitment turned into a lifelong passion, and he never left. In 1996 Michael became the principal of the practice.
Michael is highly qualified, staying current with the latest developments in physiotherapy through ongoing education, practice improvement strategies, and evidence-based approaches.
His expertise covers a wide range of conditions, including complex back and neck pain, knee injuries, sporting injuries, headaches, and TMJ (jaw pain). He also leads weekly hydrotherapy sessions, enhancing his holistic approach to patient care. One of the highlights of his career was working at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Michael lives locally with his wife Miriam and their two children. Outside of work, he is an avid cyclist who enjoys walking and traveling.
On reflecting how physio has changed over the decades Michael says that "today the patient is much more involved in their own management and treatment through exercise and education compared to more passive treatment back in the 90s."

He continues to enjoy the face-to-face interactions of physio day to day and also sharing his fun facts!
